Un-Be-Lievable. The best coffee I've had other than the cafe cubano in Miami. Make sure to get the Geraldine, you will NOT be disappointed. Very friendly staff and great service. Glad we found our new favorite coffee spot in the Skagit Valley!

Cute place, nice people and I love supporting small businesses which is why I stopped in this morning even though my bnb has free coffee.
I ordered a 12 Oz americano and was asked if I wanted room for cream. I said " a little"
My total came to 3.50 for a 2.75 drink ( according to the menu) and I asked why it was so much? They said they charged for cream, and proceeded to talk down to me like I'm the stupid one for not knowing that, when I explained that's not usual. Once again, I got told it is usual and more and more places are doing it, and then was reminded that "there is also tax" like for some reason I didn't expect that either?
Here is the thing. I'm totally ok with paying extra for things, but what I'm NOT ok with, is deceptive pricing and then being talked down to because I questioned it. It's .50 cents who cares, but it's a business practice that I don't support. You want to charge for cream, cool. Just tell people and don't be deceptive about it, and don't talk to us, the customers, like we are stupid.
And no, it's not a usual practice. I live in Seattle one of the most expensive cities in the world now and I buy coffee often. Being charged for cream, in a tiny town even, is most definitely a first.
They have blue star coffee which I generally like and my americano was decent - black. -

Small coffee shop built over concrete pad. Chairs are comfy. We ordered two americanos and they tasted like water. We said something and they remade them with two shots. The doubles tasted good. Bathroom is an outhouse in the parking lot. WiFi is great.

Husband and I have been having our afternoon coffee here during our visit to LaConner. We feel like the locals because of the hostess and customers. We just get the Americano so nothing too fancy but we have enjoyed visiting with those around us. My husband's favorite is the local Lopez Island ice cream that they carry. Really good!! Most definitely be a place we return to when we visit LaConner next year!!

This place is a secret jewel. One of the unique coffee shop I found along my way down the streets in Laconner. I have to swing by again when ever I'm in town. The staff was supper friendly and had great suggestions. I was so satisfied with my drink and so glad I order one of their specialty drink and not a regular mocha or latte.
